Vague
Buffy Spoilers
I realize that most people do not like spoilers. I myself am one of them.
Yet here I am providing in depth previews of Buffy & Angel. I can't help
myself. I'm addicted to Buffy spoilers. I can't stay away from them. So as I
service to those of you who hate knowing EXACTLY what happens I'll start
offering 'Vague Buffy spoilers'. They'll tease what happens but not explicitly
give away everything. And for those spoiler junkies out there I'll give the
sites where I found the original spoilers so you can spoil away to your hearts
content.

HUGE Angels spoilers. MUCH BIGGER than the December 8th
spoilers. These come from
Ain't It Cool News. Now these are SO big, they will ruin the season for you.
On the Ain't It Cool site, you can see the 'inviso-text' by simply pressing
'ctrl a' the Windows shortcut for 'select all. Or just use your mouse to select
the invisible text. These are very detailed spoilers...but I'll give a vague
version of these spoilers below...in fact, from now on, that's what I'll do,
give vague versions of the spoilers. Some of these are just TOO damn spoiling.

The following happens in episodes 9,10,11
The Beast encounters Wolfram & Hart.
Cordy & Connor learn that Angel saw them together.
Gwen (Miss Electricity from a earlier in the season) comes
back. Cordy & her are not bosom buddies.
Angelus & The Beast met before in the distant past, and Angelus
has information crucial for defeating him. Angel does not have access to this
information.
Wes and Fred work closely together making for a jealous Gunn.
The Beast is searching for some mystical objects. If he finds
these...the sun goes away.
Wesley visits a shaman for help.
The shaman helps them bring Angelus back.
They find out that there's a special artifact which can kill
The Beast, and the gang goes in search of it.
There's a huge fight scene involving The Beast, Connor & Angel.
One of them ain't walking away from this fight.
Cordy makes a passionate love with someone.
And the ending of episode ten...I don't like it. I don't like
it at all. It's a cop out. I hope it comes off better when they air it.

Ok, you've been warned. In episode 13 of Angel, Angelus snacks
on the good citizens of Los Angeles. Connor hunts his father. Lilah is killed
and Wesley does not take this well. Faith appears in episode 13 where
she's attacked in prison by a man with a dagger...eerily similar to the
Disciples of the First (or whatever they're called) in Buffy, but this
connection is never officially made, just hinted at. Faith will appear in three
Angel episodes before showing up in Sunnydale for five episodes beginning
with episode 18 of Buffy.
The explosion of the Watcher Headquarters left no survivors.
Xander and Anya will not be reconciled.
Faith is killed in the Buffy season finale. So much for that
spin-off idea.

December 4, 2002
The Willow love interest will be the oldest of the
'Slayers-In-Training' and her name could be Kennedy. A lot of rumors for casting
a 'hot Euro babe' to be an international Slayer for these episodes and a
possible spin-off. Also rumors that a Watcher for Dawn is being cast for, and
they're looking for one of those suave handsome British types that girls like
for some reason.
In episode twelve, Buffy, Spike and the Slayers In Training go
to a bar. Wow, what a spoiler! And Dawn learns that she is a Slayer candidate.
Rumors that Principal Wood could be a Watcher? That doesn't
make much sense.
December 2, 2002
Episode eleven of Buffy features a showdown with the Supreme
Ugly Vampire. More Slayers-In-Training arrive. The First Evil impersonates some
more people. And we get a glimpse of Drusilla.
Episode ten of Buffy features the arrival of the long
discussed, Slayers-In-Training. There will be three of them. One will be gay &
one will die this episode. I suppose it's possible the gay one could die, but
here's why she won't. She will likely be the 'Willow love interest' which Joss
has spoken of. And I cannot see them killing another of Willow's love interests,
after the furor that Tara's death caused last year.
Also this episode, Spike is no where to be found and we find
out what happened to Giles.
Andrew will stick around for a number of episodes this season.
There's a Joss Whedon biography due in May of next year.
No new Buffy or Angel episodes to well within the new year,
starting the week of the 13th. Possibly later for Angel.
About three weeks ago I knew this but for a variety of reasons
(apathy, laziness, indifference) did not post it. Charisma Carpenter is
pregnant. The show will include her pregnancy in the storyline. Thus
explaining her tryst with Connor in Apocalyspe Nowish. She's due on St.
Patrick's Day.

Here's a well-written
article
why Angel should NOT be inundated with Buffy cast members should Buffy end this
season. I do not agree with some of the points, but it's a very interesting
read.
BIG ANGEL SPOILER: When The Beast rises from the center
of the earth, Angel, Wesley, Gunn and Lorne find themselves facing the
embodiment of Cordy’s apocalyptic nightmare. Bloodied and beaten from their
battles with The Beast, Angel and company recognize that they may not be able to
stop the disaster.
The episode airs November 17.

That would be the Beast.

There's a hideous rumor making the rounds that there'll be 5
weeks of repeats between episodes 9 and 10! This would cast doubt on the spoiler
from October 21, which claims episodes 9 & 10
are a 2-parter. Would they have a five week layoff between episodes of a
2-parter? I think it unlikely.
In more spoilers-were-wrong-news, the names of the football
characters in the sixth episode of Buffy were wrong. The
September 22nd spoiler claimed they were
Skyler and Kozac when in effect, they were R.J. and O'Donnell.
In an online
interview, Tom Lenk, who plays Andrew, formerly member of the evil Troika,
claims that he's committed to shooting multiple episodes this season. Since we
know that either Andrew or Jonathan will die in "Conversations With Dead People"
(episode 8 of Buffy) things don't look good for series veteran Jonathan (Danny
Strong).
Episode 10 of Buffy, called, "Bring On The Night" has 3
Slayers-in-training coming to stay with Buffy. One of which may be gay.
(possible Willow love interest ?) Giles is in this episode. The Watcher's
Council has been attacked and in bad shape. The Summer's house is attacked.
Episode 8 of Buffy, entitled, "Sleeper" has Spike possessed and
doing some bad things. Giles makes a BIG discovery that could effect everyone.
November 3, 2002
Angel's 'Big Bad' is revealed in the seventh episode.
The Fang Gang summon Angelus to deal with the 'Big Bad,' then
summon Faith to deal with Angelus. This happens in February.
Amber Benson won't be appearing in any role this season.
The Buffy cartoon is officially dead.
Episode 7 of Buffy, "Conversations With Dead People", has the
death of either Jonathan or Andrew. My money's on Andrew.
October 26, 2002
Episode 8 of Buffy "Sleeper" (airing November 19, 18th in
Halifax) concerns a serial killer on the loose in Sunnydale. When the Scooby
gang investigates, they are shocked by the possible suspect's identity.
October 21, 2002
Episode seven is called, "Conversations With Dead People."
Everyone's favorite geeks Jonathan & Andrew return. Dawn is visited by Joyce's
spirit. Willow by Tara's. The 'spirits' are not what they seem. Spike is working
for an evil entity.
Episodes 9 & 10 are a two-part episode written by Marti Noxon.
October 17, 2002
Alt pop babe Aimee Mann performs at the Bronze in episode 8
entitled, "Sleeper". She performs the song, "Pavlov's Bells". A lifetime ago,
Aimee sung the 80's classic "Voices Carry" as part of 'Till Tuesday. Now if she
sang THAT song on Buffy, broadcast television would know it's grandest moment.
In other, Who's Playing at the Bronze? news, next week's
episode entitled, "Him" features 90's girl group, "The Breeders".
October 13, 2002
Spike moves in with Xander (?!?!?) in episode 6.
The Anya episode will be called "Selfless".
September 22, 2002
Episode 6 of Buffy is called "Him".
“Emergency cheerleader tryouts” are held at Sunnydale High when
one of the squad has a nasty run-in with a vending machine.
Lori, the Cordelia-like captain of the cheerleading squad, gets
terribly annoyed when a star quarterback (Skyler) fails to ignore Dawn properly.
Lori mocks Dawn by suggesting that sister Buffy, the school’s new counselor, is
“some kind of narc or something.”
Skyler feels threatened too, because his coach plans to start
the Saturday game with a longtime benchwarmer (Kozac). Dawn pleads with Kozac to
bow out so Skyler can lead the team to victory. When Kozac laughs her off, Dawn
shoves the burly Kozac down a flight of stairs.
It turns out Skyler can make all the females in Sunnydale do
his bidding, thanks to his magical letter jacket. There’s a funny scene closing
act two that may remind some of “Buffy Vs. Dracula.” Skyler slips the jacket on
while Buffy is trying to lecture him about the evil of womanizing.
The Slayer will even abuse her Sunnydale High authority to
score some one-on-one time with the hunky footballer many years her junior.
Spike and Xander, team up to sort out what’s happened.
They visit Skyler’s brother, Lance. Once a big man on campus, Lance has grown
into a pudgy delivery boy for Pizza Barn. It is from Lance that they learn of
the jacket’s disturbing history.
Season Four of Angel begins on October 4th.
Cordelia gets amnesia in episode 3.
Wesley reunites with the gang in episode 6, but there's a small
catch, as everyone has amnesia. In their befuddled state, the gang thinks
that poor Lorne is an evil demon.
Wes may be getting Wolverine-type blades that emanate from his
arms. Huh? I'll believe that when I see it.
September 11, 2002
Buffy Episode one of Season seven,"Lessons" begins with a hooded figure in
Istanbul attacking a slayer-in-training. Why are all hooded figures bad? You
never see a Mary Poppins character with a hood.
We get to the roots of Spike's hair. I guess they don't have bleach
in Africa. Spike's soul isn't agreeing with him, we see evidence of Spike trying
to cut his soul out.
Willow still has all of her powers. While in England, she senses some big
time evil brewing in Sunnydale. I was hoping they'd address the issue of
Willow's godlike powers. Omnipotent characters get boring fast. I hope they
don't reprise last years 'Willow going cold turkey with the magic'. I don't want
dreary magic-addict Willow. I want kooky adorable season 2 Willow.
Here's info on the much talked about 'all big bad' scene. Each villain
morphs into the next. Here's the order.
Warren into Glory into Adam into Mayor Wilkins into Drusilla
into The Master into Buffy.
Possible continuity error...did Spike ever meet Mayor Wilkins
in season 3?
Episode 5 all about Anya, is titled, "Anya". Could a spin-off
be around the corner? Wishful thinking.
September 7, 2002
Episode 5 is all about Anya. Woo-hoo! Highest rated episode
ever? Perhaps.
Anya sings a la Once More With Feeling!
We will learn the reason for Anya's bunny-phobia.
Anya's old troll boyfriend Olaf reappears in a flashback.
Buffy & Anya engage in some non-verbal sparring.
Anya wants to undo a particularly bad wish, we learn that the
cost of undoing a wish, is the life of the vengeance demon. (I don't like
the sounds of that)
More of Anya's origins are revealed.
Buffy settles into her new job at the new high school in
episode 4.
Willow returns from England in episode 3, and encounters a
nasty demon called Gnarl.
Dawn also gets into more trouble in episode 3. <sigh> if
there's a Buffy drinking game, people are chugging right now.
Anya discovers Spike soul status in episode 2.
Xander makes a new friend in episode 2.

In Episode 5 of Angel, titled “Supersymmetry,” Fred visits her
old physics professor and learns more of how she wound up in Pylea. It turns out
that she’s not the only gifted physics student who’s found herself the victim of
transdimensional transport in recent years.
In addition, Angel learns from a comic-book geek that his
adventures haven’t exactly been flying under the radar. “There’s whole forums on
you in the chatrooms, man. But who knew you actually, like, existed.” Wesley,
meanwhile, continues to operate well apart from Angel Investigations.
Faith's Buffy episodes will be the final 5 episodes of the
season.
Eliza Dushku has
officially signed on to reprise her role as Faith this season in five episodes
of "Buffy" and three episodes of the WB Network's spinoff "Angel". The actress'
busy feature schedule has kept her away from the "Buffy" franchise as of late.
