New Scotland--just like
Old Scotland, only without the ingesting of sheep entrails.
Think Halifax has a monopoly on
students? Sorry chump, here we see the Digby High School Class of '99 already hard at work
at fulfilling their dreams.
What's that? You think the Prairies,
the Rockies and Niagra Falls have Canada's best scenery, uhhh no. Look at these pictures
showing off Nova Scotian beauty, and let your spirit soar.
No less authority than Joseph Howe
himself, called Mt. Uniacke,"Mountain of the Gods, for surely only the gods
themselves would bless an area with such an abundance of grass and bushes."
Ah, Pictou County, bread basket of the
East. The only thing more impressive than the majesty of the scenery is the richness of
the soil. Little do those Halifax fat-cats realize that their fast-paced jet setting is
possible ONLY because of the sweat and toil of the proud farm folk of the area.
The heart quickens, the pulse races,
yes it's the big city. Sydney. The industrial heartland of the province. For over two
hundred years Sydney has kept the Nova Scotia economy running like a Cadillac. As the old
saying goes, "As goes Sydney, goes the world." True when first spoken, true now.
