What Do I Know?
For 27 years now, Peter Gawdunyk has had a
committment to breathing. Whether at the prestigious business school at
Saint Mary's University or the even more prestigious
Information Technology Institute, Peter Gawdunyk has
breathed successfully at every level.
I graduated as an Information Technology expert learner in
October of 2000. This web site is a visual representation of my IT project experience
and skills. I am eager to learn and embrace new technology; I am an accomplished
team based application developer ; demonstrating an excellent capacity to learn new
concepts and remain open to new ideas Most importantly I possess good organizational
skills with the ability to adapt to a changing situation; - as an expert Learner.
I was enrolled in the Applied Information Technology program at the Information Technology
Institute ("ITI") at the Halifax campus. ITI is recognized as Canada’s
leader in postgraduate IT education. With strict entrance requirements, the 9 month
intensive curriculum provides a professional environment that mirrors the real e-business
world, complete with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology. Sometimes
you may even pass a window, and glimpse the outside! ITI offers a collaborative
learning atmosphere where students work in teams simulating workplace dynamics while
honing necessary soft skills.
I bring a
sound understanding of the business side of any organization with a Bachelor Degree in
Commerce, majoring in Accounting.
My work
experience includes work in both the private and public sectors. I am as comfortable in an
office setting as in the workroom, getting my hands dirty. I am everyman. For the proof of

Problem solving, entrepreneurship, decision making, and interaction skills have been an
integral part of my experience. I have excellent communication skills and enjoy working
with the public. My participation in countless group projects and my ability to function
as both team player and a leader always result in productive projects and experiences. I
take pride in being tenacious and delivering quality results. Self-motivation,
versatility, enthusiasm and are all traits that have contributed to my professional and
personal success.
